VINTAGE SHABBY/ CHIC SOAP BOX

Hi everyone,

Another quick posting from me.  Tonight I have something a bit different to a card to share.  This is a cross between a box and a soap wrapper.  The bar of soap was to be a small raffle prize at a function Mum was organising so I titivated it up a bit to make it more interesting.

The gorgeous image was from Magic Moonlight and all items were very much from my stash.

I would like to enter this into the challenge at Sugar Creek Hollow
where the theme is 'Tags/Boxes

Thanks for looking

CHRISTMAS INSPIRATION AT LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS

Hi everyone,

I am here tonight to share a card I made for the monthly Challenge at Live and Love Crafts where there is a Christmas Inspiration Collage to inspire.

Well, there was so much inspiration here, I spotted hearts and stars in several places so I included the lovely hearts and stars  from Live and Love Crafts.  The base is embossed  but it is mainly covered with embellishments so is not easy to see.  The Rosette Ribbon, feathers, flowers, Melissa Francis pleated ribbon and of courser the Frantage were also from Live and Love Crafts.  I warned Hubby and our dog to keep out of the way whilst I was doing this or they could well have got Frantaged!  It seemed to be getting everywhere!

The lovely image is from Crafty Individuals, I thought it was so apt having the clock as the main feature along with the cups and saucers.

Everything else has come from my stash.  I must say though I put my heart and soul into this card and just loved making it.   I am really in my element making Shabby Chic cards.  (Or perhaps you had guessed!)

And of course I would like to enter it into the Challenge at Live and Love Crafts

Thanks for looking,

Hi everyone,

I am here tonight with a very quick posting of a Festive Tag Card to share which I made for the Challenge at Cheery Lynn

I actually loved making this, I made the shape up myself but I am sure it will have been done many times before.  You will see I have used multiple dies from Cheery Lynn, including the hand-made Flowers and leaves.  The inside is decorated too as can be seen on the photograph below.  It is finished off with machine stitching.

VINTAGE DOUBLE POCKET ZIGZAG CARD - SHABBY CHIC STYLE

Hi everyone,

Today I am sharing a card I made which I would like to enter into the DT Call at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge   As a lot of you will know, I just love the Shabby Chic style and playing around with different shaped cards, (although I am not restricted to this one style and shaped cards only because I do like variety)  I think it is all about enjoying and I really loved making this one.  There is a double pocket which could contain something of one's choice.

The lovely Vintage image is another one from Cardmaker's Delights.  I simply adore these images.  If purchasing just one set I think it works out the cheapest to purchase from the EBay site, but the website and also Amazon are other options.

CARDMAKER'S DELIGHTS - VINTAGE SCISSORS

Hi everyone,

I am here today to share a card I made using another fabulous image from Cardmaker's Delights   I fell in love with this image the minute I saw it.  Again, this card sort of just happened.  I was sat piecing this and that together and before I knew it the card was taking shape and done.  I can honestly say I loved making this.  Isn't it great when this happens, there are so many times when things just do not go to plan, that when things go right so quickly it is like a ray of sunshine.  I must admit it is the designing part I like the best in making a card.  I wonder what you like the best?

FESTIVE TILDA

Two cards in one day so please scroll down for the first one.

This card sort of just happened.  I had this piece of patterned paper left over and was sat wondering what I could do with it, and this is what happened.

It is very much a stash card really.   I already had the Tilda image coloured up, The Memory Box paper was a scrap left over and the Snowflakes are from a Tim Holtz On the Edge die.  The Poinsettias came from EBay and I spotted the berries in a Garden Centre locally.  The tag is from a Marianne Creatables die.

CARDMAKER'S DELIGHTS - VINTAGE

Hi everyone

I am here today to share a card I made a little while ago which fits the two challenges at 613 Avenue Create    and Sugar Creek Hollow  where the themes are 'Anything Goes' and Crafts and Me  where the theme is 'Vintage Christmas'.  When I made this card it was made so that it could be versatile and used for many occasions.  I think it would make a good Christmas card, or any occasion really. So, I am entering it also into the Challenge at Cheery Lynn
where the theme is 'Give Thanks'

I loved making this card, using the gorgeous A4 embossing folder that came with my e-Bosser (love that machine) and this gorgeous Vintage image which is on such good quality card from Cardmaker's Delights.  There is a fabulous selection of Vintage toppers to be had here including some gorgeous images of cats, so if you are a cat lover or know anyone who loves cats and need to make a card for them this is the place to be!  There is a good variety of many topics too, I find they are a real pleasure to work with.  They can be found on EBay but also on the website which is very user friendly here at  http://www.cardmakersdelights.co.uk/

CHRISTMAS CARDS ALL YEAR ROUND CHALLENGE - WINTER WONDERLAND

Hi everyone

First I would like to apologise for my absence from Blogging recently, I have been having a few problems with my PC.   I have been unable to make many comments, each time I clicked on the comment link nothing happened.  Anyhow, eventually I found I could re-set Firefox back to its original settings (yeah seems simple but I am useless when things go wrong!) and Yay!  it seems to be ok again now.  It did not help with me getting flu either, just when I was due my flu jab!

Anyhow, today sees the start to a new Challenge at CCAYR, which is entitled 'Winter Wonderland'  You will see I have been playing around with my Cheery Lynn die-cuts again, and I just love this image created by Sylvia Zet for Wee Stamps.  I am really enjoying making this shaped card.  The image on the inside is from LOTV -  I love this image!
