BLOGAVERSARY CANDY

Hi everyone,

Last month saw the anniversary of the start of my Blog.  Where on earth has those three years gone?  And yet such a lot has happened in that time.  I am now on several Design Teams and  I design for Papercraft Essentials magazine too.

I have had such fun along the way and have made such a lot of online and Blogging friends.  But you know, none of this would have happened if it were not for my faithful followers.  I really do appreciate all your lovely comments.  Although I am quite passionate about our lovely hobby it is you who helps to keep me going.

I waited until today to do this because it is my turn to host the Challenge at Fussy & Fancy so I am tieing the two things in on one day.

My next post will follow this VERY soon with all the details of the challenge.  I am so excited about this! Please do pop back and leave me a comment and it would be great if you could find time to enter the Challenge too.

So, onto the candy:

1.    I have a £10 Gift voucher to give away from Live and Love Crafts

2.  Mi Ran Jung has also offered to donate two lovely prizes.  Two Winners will each get to choose two Digital Images from Mi Ran's Etsy Shop ( https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/artbymiran?ref=shopsection_shophome_leftnav )

3.   I also have three little surprise parcels to give away which I have put together myself.

All you need to do is to make sure you are a follower (preferably through Blogger, but other ways are ok) and leave a comment on this post.  New followers are welcome too.  That is it.  There is no need to put it on your sidebar of your Blog but I would love it if you did that for me.

The candy will close on 31 March at 1900 (7pm) BMT and I will ltry and announce it on the Blog here on the 1st April.

My next post will follow this VERY soon,

Judy x

DEMO DAY

Hi everyone,

Well, it has been a busy week here for me but I really wanted to share with you some cards I made for a Demo I did for our local Craft Shop.  I had not done this before so was very nervous and it will come as no surprise to you all that when I got home I added more embellishments etc to each card! lol  Well I just could not help myself.  I tried to focus on basics really, so in my eyes they did need some extra finishing touches to make them my style.  I used a mixture of toppers, all very lovely so I will try and share the links where I am able to.  Of course, if you are passing 'Whitby Crafts' then you will find them in there too.

Michele at Whitby Crafts has intoruced me to the Pinflair Gel Glue, and oh my! I must say I love it for sticking our lovely embellishments, ribbon bows, flowers, buttons etc.  I have done a search of Google and found a link here http://www.joannasheen.com/craft-supplies/glues-and-sticky-things/pinflair-glues/pinflair-glue-gel-kit-includes-syringe-and-dispensing-key/

So, onto the cards:

Using Cardmaker's Delights Toppers available on Amazon here http://www.amazon.co.uk/s?ie=UTF8&field-keywords=Cardmaker%27s+Delights

and using Hobby House Toppers created by Sylvia Zet: http://sylviazet.blogspot.co.uk/
There are links to the left of the Blog where the stamps, digis and toppers can be obtained.

and finally using Krafty Hands Toppers  http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/webshop/
I have spotted a link to their Blog too:  http://kraftyhands.blogspot.co.uk/

So, that was my day on Tuesday!  AND I have been asked my Michele to do another one on Tuesday May 13th so if you are in the area do pop in and say hello.

As always, thanks for looking and have a really lovely weekend,

Judy x

ps.  I just have a couple of links to add to this post which Tracy at Cardmaking Delights has just very kindly sent me.  She has added some of my cards to her pages.  Thanks Tracy!

I am delighted to be back with another Design Team card to share which I made for the Challenge at  Sweet Stamping   The  theme to this Challenge is entitled  'Doodles'.

This is a slightly different style for me.   I have made a few cards like this but they are not blogged yet.  The stamping part is the sentiment on the doodles heart die-cut.  I have to admit I did not do this, it was a lovely present from a friend of mine.  It was just too lovely not to use for this Challenge and perfect for the card especially as it covers a crease! lol  The things we do eh!

There are two lovely sponsors:

Challenge Theme: Doodles

Weekly: The Hobby House - £10 goody bag

Please do pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work here.  It is a lovely Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

Hi everyone

Today sees the half way mark for the Challenge at CCAYR, which is entitled 'Step Cards'  .

I made this step card using the lovely Cheery Lynn Step Card Die.  To make it a little quicker as I was a little behind schedule I cut the shape using a sheet of patterned card.  The Magnolia Tilda image has been coloured by a friend of mine.
